Basketball Game Preview: North Medford Black Tornado vs. South Medford Panthers

North Medford hasn't had much luck against South Medford recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. It'll be Northside v. Southside when the North Medford Black Tornado and the South Medford Panthers meet at 6:45 p.m. North Medford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season.

Last Friday, North Medford came up short against South Eugene and fell 52-45.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Easton Curtis, who posted 16 points. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keenan Stewart, who earned 13 points.

Meanwhile, South Medford slipped by Willamette 52-51 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

North Medford's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-6. As for South Medford, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.

North Medford didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against South Medford in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 58-52 win. Does North Medford have another victory up their sleeve, or will South Medford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
