Softball Recap: Almont Has No Trouble Against Croswell-Lexington

Almont barely beat Croswell-Lexington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders blew past the Pioneers 11-1 on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Brooklyn Bunch was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

Almont's victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1. As for Croswell-Lexington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Almont will take on St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will square off against Imlay City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
