Softball Game Preview: Liberty Eagles vs. Havana Ducks

The Liberty Eagles will face off against the Havana Ducks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Liberty comes in on seven and Havana on six.

Liberty is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Delavan 4-3.

Chandler John spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Liberty saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Fessler, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Havana earned a 4-1 win over Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia on Tuesday.

Liberty's victory bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Havana, their win bumped their record up to 22-3-1.
