Football Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin played against Mascoma on Saturday and lost via forfeit.

Franklin dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Mascoma, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mascoma, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Farmington/Nute at 2:00 p.m. on November 1. The Royals will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
