Soccer Game Preview: La Porte vs. Crosby

The La Porte Bulldogs will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Crosby Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Porte's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

La Porte's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Dickinson 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Bulldogs were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Crosby's offense. They fell just short of Barbers Hill by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

La Porte now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Crosby, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3-1.
