Claremore is a perfect 8-0 against Glenpool since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Zebras will welcome the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Claremore got the win against Grove by a conclusive 9-3. Considering the Zebras have won 16 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Glenpool, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over Sperry on Thursday. Considering the Warriors' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Glenpool let Peyton Surrett and Ayden Wade run wild. Surrett got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs, while Wade went 2-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Surrett has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mason Romero, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Glenpool was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .519. They are 10-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Claremore is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Glenpool, their win bumped their record up to 13-15.

Claremore took their victory against Glenpool when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 23-3 score. Do the Zebras have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
