Dixie won the last time they faced Chaminade Julienne Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Greyhounds walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Greyhounds.

Bethany Himan was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Jacie Hartimer was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Dixie's record is now 2-0. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixie will venture away from home to square off against Brookville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, they will head out to challenge Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
