Basketball Recap: Shullsburg Victorious

While Shullsburg's victory against Riverdale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Miners narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Chieftains 73-70.

The victory got Shullsburg back to even at 1-1. As for Riverdale, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Shullsburg is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Highland at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Miners their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Riverdale, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Ithaca at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
