Baseball Recap: St. Bonaventure Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for St. Bonaventure's offense. They lost 18-0 to the Thousand Oaks Lancers on Tuesday. The Seraphs haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

St. Bonaventure saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luc Beauchemin, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that Beauchemin snagged this season.

St. Bonaventure now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Thousand Oaks, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-2.

Looking ahead, St. Bonaventure will venture away from home to challenge Righetti at 4:30 p.m. on March 11th. St. Bonaventure has given up an average of 6.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Thousand Oaks, they will be playing at home against Skyline at 3:30 p.m. on March 13th. Thousand Oaks is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
