Baseball Recap: Oakhaven Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Oakhaven entered their tilt with Mitchell on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 10-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Oakhaven's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gregory Walls, who went 1-for-3 with three runs. Another was Henry Pratcher, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Oakhaven's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Mitchell, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Coming up, Oakhaven will venture away from home to face off against Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mitchell, they will host Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
