Basketball Recap: Gladstone Takes a Loss

Gladstone was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Escanaba Eskymos. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Braves have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Escanaba, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-13.

While Gladstone had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
