Football Game Preview: Marshfield vs. Aurora

Marshfield will be playing at home against Aurora at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Marshfield are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Aurora are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Last Friday, Marshfield had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 31-21 win over Reeds Spring.

Meanwhile, Aurora were close but not close enough as they fell 13-16 to Hollister. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Marshfield's victory lifted them to 5-2 while Aurora's loss dropped them down to 2-5. In their victory, Marshfield relied heavily on junior Brennan Espy, who picked up 136 yards on the ground and caught passes for 89 yards. Aurora will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
