River View extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 6-7 in the process. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the John Glenn Little Muskies. That's more bragging rights for the Black Bears, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

As for John Glenn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly five runs.

For John Glenn's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wylee Woodard, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Woodard has become a key player for the Little Muskies: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-7 otherwise.

River View will have a chance to go back-to-back against John Glenn: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
