Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Heritage Christian). They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Lawrence Central Bears on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the game before.

Heritage Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for Lawrence Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Heritage Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-4 win against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory on the 19th.
