Baseball Recap: Innovation Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Innovation's offense. They fell just short of the Tohopekaliga Tigers by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Bulls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Innovation saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Nunez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Innovation now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Tohopekaliga, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Coming up, Innovation is taking a road trip to challenge Lake Nona at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Bulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Tohopekaliga, they will be playing at home against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in the Tigers' favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Chargers have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
