Preview: North Georgia vs. Lanier Christian Academy
Lanier Christian Academy will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against North Georgia at 7:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-55, which was the final score in Lanier Christian Academy's tilt against The King's Academy last Saturday.
Meanwhile, North Georgia couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 8-54 to Robbinsville. North Georgia were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 8-35.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better score. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
