Baseball Recap: Mountain Pointe's Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Mountain Pointe came into Tuesday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the La Grande Tigers on Tuesday.

Jaxson Adamson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilio Valdez-Rodriguez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.

Mountain Pointe's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for La Grande, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Mountain Pointe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Quartz Hill on the 26th. As for La Grande, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Pueblo Central on the 26th.
