Soccer Recap: Hayes Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Hayes, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let the Centennial Stars get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Saturday. The win was all the more spectacular given Hayes' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 349th, while Centennial are ranked 147th).

Hayes' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5-1. As for Centennial, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Coming up, Hayes will welcome Worthington Kilbourne at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial, they will face off against Mifflin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
