 Richton is 0-3 against Raleigh since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Richton Rebels will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raleigh Lions at 6:00  p.m. Richton will be strutting in after a  victory while Raleigh will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Last Tuesday, Richton beat Sacred Heart 10-5. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Richton.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 17  runs the game before, Raleigh was a bit more limited  in their  match  on Tuesday. They suffered a  rough 17-2 loss at the hands of Mize.
 Raleigh saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Haylee Buffington, who  went 1-for-1 with two  RBI and a  double.  Tatum Bowen was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base.
 Richton has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record  this season. As for Raleigh, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-15 record  this season.
 Richton might still be hurting after the  10-0 defeat they got from Raleigh  in their previous matchup  back in February of 2020. Thankfully for Richton,  Holly Craft (who   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk)) won't be suiting up this time.
