 Springfield Township scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They blew past Germantown Friends 14-1. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded Springfield Township with their most commanding win of the  season.
  Jack McKittrick was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 5-for-5. Another player making a difference was  Nathan Levy, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Springfield Township's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 8-7. As for Germantown Friends, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record  this season.
 Springfield Township will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Moreland at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Upper Moreland will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Springfield Township surely won't give up without a fight. As for Germantown Friends, they have the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Episcopal Academy at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Episcopal Academy's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Germantown Friends' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
