Baseball Recap: Michigan Lutheran Seminary Has No Trouble Against Ithaca

Michigan Lutheran Seminary won the last time they faced Ithaca and things went their way on Monday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 15-7 margin over the Yellowjackets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Simeon Kober was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kober was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4.

In other batting news, Michigan Lutheran Seminary let Noah Reif and Ethan Wakefield run wild. Reif scored three runs while going 2-for-4, while Wakefield scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Salgat, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Michigan Lutheran Seminary always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .578. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ithaca only posted an OBP of .371.
