Football Game Preview: Purcell Dragons vs. Plainview Indians + How To Watch

Purcell is 0-3 against Plainview since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Dragons will head out to face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Purcell will be strutting in after a victory while Plainview will be coming in after a loss.

Purcell is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Lexington: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Dragons blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 55-0 final score. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Plainview and Davis were almost perfectly matched up on Friday, but Plainview suffered a 36-35 defeat. The loss put an end to the Indians' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Plainview fell to 2-1. As for Purcell, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Purcell was dealt a bruising 40-10 loss at the hands of Plainview in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Dragons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
