Football Recap: Scituate Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Scituate's offense. They were outmatched by the Johnston Panthers and fell 27-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Spartans haven't been shut out since back in October.

Leading Johnston to victory were Michael Messina and Ethan Archambeault. Messina gained 90 total yards and two touchdowns, while Archambeault threw for 132 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most passing touchdowns Archambeault has posted since back in September. Antonio Morales also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Scituate and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Johnston, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

As of now, neither Scituate nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
