Football Recap: Scituate Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Scituate fell victim to Johnston and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Panthers and fell 27-0. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Leading Johnston to victory were Michael Messina and Ethan Archambeault. Messina gained 90 total yards and two touchdowns, while Archambeault threw for 132 yards and three TDs. That's the most passing touchdowns Archambeault has posted since back in September. Antonio Morales also deserves some recognition as he rushed for his first rushing yards of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Scituate and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Johnston, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither Scituate nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
