Basketball Recap: Algoma Comes Up Short

If Algoma was riding high fresh off their 51-23 takedown of Sturgeon Bay last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Algoma Wolves fell to the Oconto Blue Devils 53-48. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Blue Devils earlier this season, when they won 66-45.

Algoma's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Oconto, their record is now 13-6.

Coming up, Algoma will be playing in front of their home fans against Gibraltar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oconto has already played their next matchup (against Menominee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
