Volleyball Recap: Elcho Comes Up Short

The Elcho Hornets came up short against the Holmen Vikings on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Their offense was headlined by Rachel Visser and Hannah Schmidt, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Isabelle Multhauf and her three assists.

Elcho now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Holmen, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 27-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Elcho will venture away from home to take on Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holmen, they will head out to square off against Tomah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
