It was a good run, but Melbourne unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 4-0 to the Viera Hawks. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Melbourne's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-1. As for Viera, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Melbourne wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Eau Gallie on the 14th. As for Viera, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cocoa Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cocoa Beach comes in on four and Viera on three.
