Basketball Recap: Wicomico Takes a Loss

If Wicomico was riding high fresh off their 81-34 takedown of Chincoteague last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The contest between the Wicomico Indians and the Snow Hill Eagles didn't end well, with the Wicomico Indians falling 60-45. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 57-46.

Wicomico has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season. As for Snow Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Wicomico will challenge Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Snow Hill has already played their next contest (against Mardela), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
