Baseball Game Preview: River View Black Bears vs. Philo Electrics

For the second straight game, River View will face off against Philo. The Black Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Electrics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River View has given up an average of 8.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

River View managed to slip by Philo the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Black Bears came up short against the Electrics on Monday, falling 12-4.

For Philo's part, they got a massive performance out of Jack Lincicome, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run was Lincicome's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Garrett Tom, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Philo was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

River View's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Philo, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
