Mt. Pleasant is 9-1 against Tyler since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Tigers take on the Lions at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Mt. Pleasant made easy work of Nacogdoches and carried off a 61-39 victory. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Tyler beat Texas 59-50 on Friday.

Tyler has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season. As for Mt. Pleasant, they pushed their record up to 24-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Mt. Pleasant strolled past Tyler when the teams last played back in January by a score of 56-39. Will Mt. Pleasant repeat their success, or does Tyler have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
