Softball Recap: Phil Campbell Takes a Loss

Phil Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Colbert Heights Wildcats, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on March 1st.

Phil Campbell saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadence Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Taylor has posted over her last 12 matchups.

Phil Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Colbert Heights, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phil Campbell will take on Belgreen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colbert Heights, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Colbert Heights Wildcats challenge Mars Hill Bible Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
