             The Evansville Christian Eagles will venture away from home to  take on the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Evansville Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5  goals per game  this season.
 Evansville Christian will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  goals  last Tuesday, then bounced right back against Evansville Bosse  on Tuesday. Evansville Christian never let Evansville Bosse onto the board and left with  a   9-0  victory. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by three  goals or more  so far this season.
 Their offense was hitting Evansville Bosse from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. 
 Ann Elise Sloan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.
 Meanwhile, Madisonville-North Hopkins didn't have quite enough to beat Bowling Green on Tuesday and fell  3-2. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Maroons in their matchups with the Purples: they've now lost five in a row.
 Evansville Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5-1.
 Evansville Christian might still be hurting after the  10-0 defeat they got from Madisonville-North Hopkins  when the teams last played  back in August of 2019. Can Evansville Christian avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
