Gainesville extended the longest winning streak in AAAAA Region 8 this week by beating Loganville, 63-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.

The Red Devils fell to Gainesville 63-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Bruce Miller's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Deshaun Watson threw for 188 and 4 touchdowns and Chastin Newman had 50 yards receiving. On the ground Michael Byrd chipped in 149 yards. Jay Gaudlock helped Gainesville's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 47 yards.

Newman was the best wideout in the league this week as the Red Elephants bested Loganville. Newman racked up 2 receptions for 50 yards. Gaudlock helped Gainesville's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 47 yards.

Gainesville's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Red Elephants feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Watson has thrown for 2,546 yards and 33 touchdowns this season, while Gaudlock has 63 catches for 902 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Gainesville takes on second place Flowery Branch.

Gainesville's Gaudlock needs only 98 receiving yards against Flowery Branch to crack 1,000 for the season. So far this year, he has acheived 63 catches for 902 yards.
