Basketball Game Preview: Landmark Academy vs. Akron-Fairgrove Vikings

Having just played yesterday, Landmark Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Akron-Fairgrove Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Landmark Academy is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

On Monday, Landmark Academy had to suffer through a 71-22 loss at the hands of Bentley.

Meanwhile, Akron-Fairgrove was beaten by Deckerville 70-23 on Friday. The Vikings have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Akron-Fairgrove's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Landmark Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-13.

Landmark Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Akron-Fairgrove in their previous meeting back in January of 2020, winning 33-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Landmark Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
