Eastside won the last time they faced Boiling Springs and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Eastside had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-22, 15-7.

Collin Jones paced Eastside's offense, picking up eight kills. Jones got some help from Jonas Kelsey and his 17 assists. Finally, Jones was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Boiling Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Eastside has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Mauldin on the 6th. As for Boiling Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Myrtle Beach on the 6th.
