Volleyball Game Preview: Stagg Chargers vs. Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers

The Stagg Chargers are taking a road trip to face off against the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. The last four games Stagg has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Stagg will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Lincoln-Way West, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. The Chargers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Stagg had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-23, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Bradley-Bourbonnais was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Andrew.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Stagg, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 11-7.
