Soccer Recap: Nederland Comes Up Short at Home Against Denver Jewish Day

Nederland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Denver Jewish Day Tigers on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Nederland couldn't quite close it out.

The victory got Denver Jewish Day back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nederland will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Front Range Baptist at 4:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Denver Jewish Day, they will face off against Denver Eagles Christian HomeSchool at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
