Basketball Recap: Muenster Takes a Loss

Muenster and Nocona squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Muenster had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Nocona Indians by a score of 64-62. The Hornets haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Muenster's defeat dropped their record down to 27-10. As for Nocona, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-6 record this season.

Muenster does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nocona, they will challenge Panhandle on Monday. Panhandle will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Nocona surely won't give up without a fight.
