Wilder entered their tilt with Compass Charter on Thursday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They walked away with a 41-29 victory over the Compass Charter Aviators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-39 back in January.

Reanna Byers and Sophie Kartchner certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Byers posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Kartchner scored four points in addition to eight boards and five steals. Kartchner is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Wilder pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.2 points over those games. As for Compass Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Wilder will challenge Liberty Charter at 7:30 p.m. on February 13th. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Wilder: 25.5, Liberty Charter: 27.7) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Compass Charter, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 38-34 victory against Victory Charter on the 11th.
