Basketball Recap: Colts Neck Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

While Colts Neck didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 62-50 win over the Shore Regional Blue Devils on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Blue Devils back in January, they had to take a 59-37 loss.

Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kimi Sayson, who posted 18 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Sayson is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Reese Fiore was another key player, putting up 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Colts Neck pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Shore Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-8.

Colts Neck has already played their next game (against Ranney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Shore Regional will be playing at home against Trinity Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
