Recap: Ogden International vs. Jones Eagles
Ogden International suffered their biggest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Monday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 71-47 walloping at the hands of Jones. Ogden International has not had much luck with Jones recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Ogden International lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alonte' Reynolds. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. That was a full 48.9% of Ogden International's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Deshawn Perry-Tucker was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Ogden International has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Jones, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-11.
Ogden International will head out on the road to face off against Crane Medical at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Crane Medical focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Saturday. As for Jones, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Raby at 4:30 p.m. Raby is hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses.
