Blue Valley Southwest was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Frontenac on Monday. The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Raiders. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Blue Valley Southwest is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Frontenac, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-6.

Blue Valley Southwest has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Blue Valley on the 6th. As for Frontenac, they will square off against Columbus on Thursday. The Titans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
