Basketball Recap: Scott Triumphs

Scott won the last time they faced Boone County, and Aaron Hampton did his part to make sure it happened again. The Scott Eagles skirted past the Boone County Rebels 50-47 thanks in part to Hampton, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 22 points and seven rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Scott's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Boone County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.

Scott has already played their next game (against Lewis County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Boone County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ryle at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
