Prattville and Smiths Station are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2015, but likely not for long. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions challenge the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Prattville has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Prattville's last matchup with Calera could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Tuesday. Prattville lost 16-6 to Calera. The Lions have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Madelyn Putteet was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Sarah Faulkner also deserves some recognition as she stole her first stolen base of the season.

Even though they lost, Prattville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The last time their OBP was this high was in their last 11 games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Smiths Station, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 win over Glenwood on Thursday.

Smiths Station's victory bumped their record up to 3-7-1. As for Prattville, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Prattville was able to grind out a solid win over Smiths Station when the teams last played two weeks ago, winning 9-5. Will Prattville repeat their success, or does Smiths Station have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
