Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Norfolk Academy). They were the clear victors by a 21-3 margin over the Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Norfolk Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Norfolk Collegiate, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Norfolk Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Maury at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
