Softball Recap: Yucaipa Thunderbirds vs. Citrus Valley Blackhawks

They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-5 victory over the Citrus Valley Blackhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thunderbirds have posted against the Blackhawks since April 6, 2023.

Brooklyn Dent looked comfortable as she tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.
