Softball Recap: Bradford Comes Up Short

Bradford lost against Union County back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tornadoes fell just short of the Fightin' Tigers by a score of 5-4.

Bradford saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keegan Yowell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Another was Regan Adams, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Bradford's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Union County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Bradford will square off against Clay at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tornadoes' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Union County, they will take on Bell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
