Basketball Recap: Providence Takes a Loss

Providence played against Redding Christian and lost via forfeit.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Redding Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Providence will take on Westwood in a holiday battle at on Tuesday. As for Redding Christian, they and East Nicolaus will face off at 7:10 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Redding Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully East Nicolaus likes a good challenge.
