Basketball Game Preview: Ubly Bearcats vs. Brown City Green Devils

The Ubly Bearcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Brown City Green Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ubly is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Ubly came up short against Sandusky on Tuesday, falling 46-25. That's two games in a row now that the Bearcats have lost by exactly 21 points.

Meanwhile, Brown City hadn't done well against Marlette recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Brown City put the hurt on Marlette with a sharp 42-19 win. The Green Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 21 points or more this season.

Ubly's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Brown City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Ubly came up short against Brown City when the teams last played back in January, falling 35-24. Can Ubly avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
