Volleyball Recap: Timpview's Losing Streak Snapped at 15 Games

Timpview can bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Mountain Crest Mustangs 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Thunderbirds have posted since March 8th.

Timpview's win bumped their record up to 4-17. As for Mountain Crest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Timpview and Mountain Crest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings. The Thunderbirds will square off against Maple Mountain at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (61 vs. 1). The timing isn't great for Timpview: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while the Golden Eagles have snatched up four consecutive wins on the road. Meanwhile, Mountain Crest (ranked 85th) will meet Sky View (ranked 34th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
